Yanni says his mother Felitsa is “the woman in his life who taught him a lot about going after his dreams”.
I don’t have any doubt that the best teachings were bestowed from her during his first 7 years, maybe less.
She programed him extremely well out of care, encouragement “to going after his dreams without judging right or wrong, make them materialized, make them reality” along with “a lot of love, strength and a lot of peace”.
That’s why he is who he is and is where he is in the unfolding of his passion.
The role of parents is one of guidance and unconditional loving care, aiming at the fulfillment and development of the wishes of their children. Here lies the power of parents and people surrounding the child to mold the making of the future adult’s personality without forcing the child’s choices to be drowned by the parents preferences.
The ultimate goal must be the pursuit of joy.
